Utah Olympic Park. The venue for the Ski Jump, Bobsled, Luge and Skeloton

This was the only Olympic event that I actually saw in person, and not on the TV. It was the K120 ski jump for the Nordic Combined. Here is a ski jumper in flight. It was really amazing to see these guys flying through the air like that.

About 20,000 in the audience for the Olympic Medal ceremony tonight. Alanis Morissette performed after the medals ceremony. There was an announcement made asking that no photos or recording take place during her performance. I was happy to oblige, so there are no photos of Alanis here.

Stan Funicelli's wife Lou Carlson, Stan Funicelli and Paul and the Thuringen House (German Beer House). Lou is an animal trainer and a men's hair stylist. Stan has written a new piece for the CGT called Prelude, Hammer and Rude, and boy is it Rude. I recently had my hair cut by Lou...it's the only place in town where you can get a trim and have meaningful discussions about tritones at the same time.
