The Olympic Ceremonies venue at the University of Utah. The 60,000 begin to arrive. |  |

The Stadium begins to fill up. Before the ceremony began, the audience participated in a "rehearsal" of sorts to learn the cues for the flashlight and colored card segments. |

The US Olympic Team enters the stadium. I tried to get a photo of Pres. Bush, but for some unknown reason, the picture didn't take. |  |

Sting and Yo-Yo Ma performing "Fragile". I wondered if they are lip syncing, because it is so cold, I can't imagine Yo-Yo Ma playing his cello in the sub freezing temps. |
