My wife and I are starting New Year's Day with traditional Japanese meal. Those dishes are specially provided for celebration of New Year called "Osechi".We eat those dishes for the next three days at lunch.

Now, we are on the way to a shrine in Tokyo for make the wish. This is called "Hastumoude" and very common among the Japanese.

I made a special wish standing next to a dog statue, "Komainu".
